Now more than ever, we as a nation and as a global community are facing the harsh realities of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic. The massive economic and social disruption caused by social isolation has put a great number of nonprofits at risk. Organizations that rely on community events to raise funds are now scrambling to find new ways to support their ongoing operations. Their supporters, while settling in for what may come, still believe, and want to support the causes they love.
In response to this need, GiveMore is stepping up. Whether you are an individual or an organization, we have prepared new ways to fundraise and interact with your supporters.
- We have integrated with Facebook Live and Facebook Videos to allow video broadcasting directly on your giving page. This allows you or members of your team to reach fans who are likely stuck at home. It also allows you to leverage your facebook network in new ways.
- GiveMore supports matching donation campaigns by allowing donors to pledge conditionally. The donor’s credit card will be charged at the beginning of each week when some or all of their pledge is matched. As your campaign gains pledges, you will be able to use this to motivate other donors to give.
- If you have an amazon wishlist, there is now a call to action that you can add to your page.
- Page configuration is simple with the ability to easily adjust settings. All of the features above and more may be easily adjusted so if you don’t want to show the total amount raised you can hide that section.

What will this cost?
The GiveMore platform is free. Instead, we include a suggested tip to donors when they make contributions.
Stripe charges a standard credit card processing fee of 2.9% plus 30 cents. Donors are now presented with the option of covering this expense on your behalf.
What will the future bring?
We are hard at work developing additional tools for fundraising. We are also developing GiveMore Offers - a tool to help businesses reward their customers for supporting the causes they love.
We need your help
We made the decision to make GiveMore free to use so that organizers keep more of the funds they are collecting. This has been part of our mission of being a certified benefits company. We are very proud of this move and are excited that it has been well received!
We rely on tips and donations from our amazing supporters to continue to grow and make our tools even better.
What do you get for donating?
In return for contributing to GiveMore directly through this campaign, you will receive the amount of your donation added to your pledge fund balance over the following 3 years. (so if you donated $36, you would get to direct $1 of the pledge fund each month for 36 months).
But there is more - if you donate $1,200 or more we will double the amount you are directing each month. This means that over the next three years, if you initially gave $1,200, you will get to direct a total of $2,400.
For good measure we have added one more tier - if you donate $12,000 or more, we will
triple the amount you are directing each month. This means that over the next three years, if you initially gave $12,000, you will get to direct a total of $36,000.
The Pledge Fund is our way of giving back where we allow individuals to direct our corporate giving in the form of pledge grants. These grants typically must be matched by additional donationes and are paid from a portion of future tip revenue as funds are available.
Note: We are currently processing pledge fund allotments manually so there may be a delay for the first month or so as we get that automated.
