Spoons for a Cause

Raising funds for a grant program supporting causes that feed people. The first recipient is Eugene, Oregon's very own Burrito Brigade.

Awesome! We did it!  Together our donations will be pledged to Burrito Brigade so that they can further engage their supporters!

Further donations to this campaign will fund the next grant.  If you have a cause that you think would benefit, email nathan@givemore.co

Why am I raising funds?

Over the past several months I have been meeting with wonderful causes in and around Eugene. One of the causes I came across was Burrito Brigade. They help provide food to those in need within our community.  They inspired me, so I created this new grant program to help them and similar causes achieve their fundraising goals.

Why Donate?

This grant program will help causes who are providing food for those in need. Grants will be pledged to the recipient's cause allowing your donation to go even further.

As the first grant recipient, Burrito Brigade, will receive whatever is raised by end of day, Tuesday, November 27th, up to $500. If additional funds are raised, they will go towards the next grant recipient.

About Burrito Brigade

To learn more about Burrito Brigade visit them on Facebook or visit their website.

Burrito Brigade is a non-profit 501c(3) organization whose mission is to feed the hungry and unhoused in Oregon by hand-delivering vegan meals for free. There is enough food in Oregon to feed every hungry person, but there is a lack of access. We are committed to engaging the community in the fight to end hunger through a network of volunteers and partnerships with organizations. Burrito Brigade works with, accepts donations from, and provides for the public, regardless of housing status, ability, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, social status, addiction, criminal background, religious affiliation or age. It is our belief that food is a basic human right.

A Note The GiveMore Grants Program

Nathan here - this is my first experiment with The GiveMore Grants program.  Moving forward, more grant campaigns will be established to help build our community.  Grants will be community funded and available to those who meet the grant criteria. Should a grant recipient turn down the grant or fail to setup a GiveMore campaign, then another cause will be chosen. For more information or to apply for this grant, please email nathan@givemore.co
