Eugene Indoor Sunshine

Eugene needs a family community center with an indoor playground for the kids, and with workspace, coffee, and wifi for you! What if you could have a space that was made for you and your family with all these things in mind?

The Shark Lives!

We are making huge progress rebuilding this giant play structure! If you ever went to Papa's Pizza on 11th before July 4th last year, you might recognize it! Yes, it's THAT play structure. Last July a team of our volunteers with a team of theirs disassembled this beast and it's been in storage waiting to live again!

Major way you can help

If you haven't already -  pre-register and pre-pay for a month or two or 12!

Today only, a $120 punch card gets you 15 day passes instead of 10! With waived registration too!

OR

$100 for 3 months membership with waived registration!

OR

$320 for one year ($420 if paid monthly)

Payments are currently going this awesome new fundraising platform - if you need to pay another way or have any snags trying to send payment, please let me know, it's a new platform and we are helping beta test it!

and then go fill out the google form so I know how to contact you. You can also fill it out to just get on our mailing list as well <3

a. sharing this post and
b. tagging 2 friends that need to see this special!

t’s about time for an update isn’t it! First, we are having to push off opening day a bit. There have been several delays - lots of repairs needed to happen to our building before we could begin setting up, but we are in and full steam ahead! This weekend we were finally able to move the play structure from storage into the building and will be assembling it this weekend. Oh goodness this is a project in and of itself! It’s a giant puzzle! It took a team of 12? 15? of us to disassemble it last July at Papa’s Pizza when they renovated the kids play area and gifted us the former play structure.

We are planning another Rummage Sale, so many people asked if we were going to do it again so they could donate their own purge pile!

Looking at soft opening June 13th with Grand Opening July 1st. Until we get the play structure fully assembled, I don’t want to jinx ourselves!

If you haven’t joined yet, now is the time! Everyone who joins before opening is going to get a super secret thank you gift! We would love to have the commericial kitchen up and running before opening!

If you want to get involved in the planning and the doing, let us know! This is a community project!

$30 Annual Registration fee
$35 a month
$15 day pass
$120 - 10 day passes

Send in your payment through the instructions on the right, and fill out this google form so we know how to contact you! https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSdu3o6QNcOaraRowQ…/viewform

It’s 40 degrees and the kids are restless, they want to go to the park. It’s cold. What wouldn’t you give for an indoor playground with space for you to hang out and drink a warm drink?

The day is warm and sunny and it’s perfect for the park – but you need to get work done. That’s what allows you to stay at home with your kids. But the park doesn’t have wifi. Or coffee. What if there was a playground with wifi AND caffeine?

The little ones are done with their school and want to go to the park, but the teen still has 2 classes to finish up and they need internet access. Imagine a place that both their needs can be met - with space for you to get lesson plans done or have coffee with other moms.

Playdates, homeschool classes, no-school days, early release, weekends, the possibilities are endless!

It’s coming! July 1st Indoor Sunshine opens and it’s just $35/ month for your entire family! That’s about $1 per day!

Huge indoor play structure
Play space for tinies through teens

Know those winter days when even the best muck boots and rain gear just can’t cut it? Or those blazing summer days when it’s too hot to play outside? Families in the Eugene/Springfield area lack indoor playspace that is accessible year-round, and that is just as useful for adults as it is for kids.

Kids need…

  • A safe indoor playspace.

  • Where they can run, romp, socialize, and develop gross motor skills

  • That is open to them all year long.

Caregivers need…

  • A place that has coffee and other hot beverages, wifi, and community - rain or shine.

  • A wifi-enabled, mobile-friendly workspace for parents and caregivers who can work remotely.

  • Space to let the kids play while grownups get things done - be that work, household management, hobbies, or whatever else is on their list for the day.

  • Space for homeschooling families to gather for classes and to share resources.

  • A place for community on weekends, evenings, and school holidays.

Eugene needs a family community center with an indoor playground for the kids, and with workspace, coffee, and wifi for you! What if you could have a space that was made for you and your family with all these things in mind?

With your help, we will. Indoor Sunshine will be a community space with all this and more. (In the future, we also plan to add a commercial kitchen and computer lab.) We have a large space, a donated indoor play set, and interest from all over the area.

But we need help from you.

Our local community is key to bringing this project to life. If you would like to see our Indoor Sunshine space become reality, donate with that lovely button to the right!

Contributing community members will receive our heartfelt gratitude and an invitation to our grand opening party.

Members who would like to help get this off the ground by prepaying will get a free t-shirt at the grand opening party!

We will be emailing everyone that donates $30 or more to find out if you would like your contribution to go towards a membership, or simply the project as a whole.

  • Contribute $100 to pay your registration fee and two months membership.

  • Contribute $360 and you have pre-paid for an entire year (that’s 20% off!).

Rates:
$30 per family registration fee
$35/ family monthly membership rate

We have a location, we have a giant indoor playground, and now we need you!

Indoor Sunshine will be located on Wallis Street, Eugene.

Planned Hours are 7 days a week, 8am-8pm

Grand Opening is planned for July 1st!

Our initial goal is 5k for move in costs
